Perfume Project Pan Update #3

Hello, happy 2026! Last month's update here. Nothing new for this month, just remember that the "uses this month" only refers to if I actually wore the scent on me, not using it as a room spray.

In Progress

Brazilian Crush
BC
Current Weight: 146g (-18g)
Uses This Month: 1
Thoughts: Still lying to myself off and on about it sitting well on my skin. I wore it for one day and spend the entire time going back and forth.

Cherry Blossom
CB
Current Weight: 66g (-7g)
Uses This Month: 10
Thoughts: I don't usually vibe with powdery scents but I'm really liking this one so far. I guess because it's so simple and light? I actually have no history with B&BW's Japanese Cherry Blossom, but from what I can tell it is both heavier and stronger than this scent; which I would not like.

Cleopatra
cleo
Current Weight: 9g (-0g)
Uses This Month: 3
Thoughts: Okay this is the absolute limit of being able to see a difference in level (at least with standard-tip sharpie marks. No, I actually don't have a fine tip one lol.) Had a sad week this month and learned that grapefruit smell flat out becomes annoying to me if I'm not feeling it.

Coco Cabana
coco
Current Weight: 26g (-8g)
Uses This Month: 9
Thoughts: I believe I could have easily finished this this month, but decided to stop because I want it for summer. It wasn't my most "worn" (on separate days) but I definitely numerically sprayed this on the most.

Hello Kitty
hellokitty
Current Weight: 262g (-2g)
Uses This Month: 11
Thoughts: I know the answer is geometry and optical illusions but it bothers me that there's like no visual difference. Despite being really sweet, it's a solid option on bad-tummy days.

Lucky Number 6
Current Weight: 117g (-0g)
Uses This Month: 0
Thoughts: Will probably use this in a couple of months, it feels like a good winter-to-spring transition scent.

Night Iris
Current Weight: 142g (-0g)
Uses This Month: 0
Thoughts:

Pear Fantasy
pear
Current Weight: 35g (-10g)
Uses This Month: 1
Thoughts: I used it once just to make sure, and yeah this is going to be a room spray lol. It hurt. I wonder if I really focus on it, I can use it up in the next month.

Sunflowers
sun
Current Weight: 89g (-1g)
Uses This Month: 1
Thoughts: Used it once to reminisce, otherwise I'm waiting until spring and summer. Still a favorite, though I learned by chance on the day I used it that (possibly the complexity of) this scent combined with tummy issues makes me nauseous 😔.

Sun-Ripened Raspberry
Current Weight: 232g (-0g)
Uses This Month: 0
Thoughts: Will probably put it in a different room soon to focus on other uses for it.

Winnie the Pooh
winnie
Current Weight: 152g (-2g)
Uses This Month: 10
Thoughts: I've confirmed this is my one of my "safest" fragrances, in terms of not potentially making headaches and stomachaches worse.

No empties nor new bottles this month!

Monthly Summary

No bottles gained/lost. 47 uses total over the last month. Most progress: Coco Cabana. Most used: Hello Kitty. This Month's Favorite: Winnie the Pooh. Most common 2-in-1-day combination was Hello Kitty and Winnie the Pooh (my two weakest scents). I've gotten a lot more generous with spraying body sprays, which is part of the reason there was so much progress in Coco Cabana and Cherry Blossom. I actually also wore Vanilla Musk once to see if I could get through it someday. I scrubbed it off within an hour, though it still lingered for another day. I'm starting to notice I like wearing one or two fragrances for about a week straight, then moving on.

Next Month & Beyond

Up next I'm thinking of focusing on Sun-Ripened Raspberry, Cleopatra, and Night Iris. I totally believe I can finish Pear Fantasy as well. I keep looking at Electrify by Paris Hilton, because Fragrantica said that's basically the perfect scent for me going by my likes. (coconut, floral, ozonic, fresh, fruit... yeah.)
I also keep looking at Khamrah Qahwa by Lattafa against better judgement because it just intrigues me. I like warm gourmand scents a lot in theory but they go into heavy and powdery so easily. I like so many of those notes though :-(

Makeup Check-In

I went through my makeup, got rid of some stuff, also got some new stuff. I like where it's at now.

For a total of 8 products. The powder foundation was actually an experiment, I bought it because I realized that my most-used eyeshadow shade was a matte nude that was basically my skintone. It doesn't have quite the opacity but it still makes a good base and was a really good price/amount for what I use it for lol. The lipstick is much darker than I typically would go so I only use it in a really specific scenario (diluted with lip balm, and with a shimmery lip gloss on top.)
My first eyeshadow palette is the Colourpop Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon palette; though I actually popped out 3 shades and repressed 3 different shades from my other Colourpop palettes in their place.
My second eyeshadow palette was an early birthday gift! The Strawberry Cupid palette (in Honey Canele) from Flower Knows. This is a split of matte and shimmer nude shades, a very simple and safe every day palette and I love it because I am boring lol. FK is probably best known for it's packaging, and yeah its gorgeous. The packaging is so detailed that it actually looks flatter/worse in the product photos than in person.

First update of the year! I'm excited to see if there's going to be any trends or other interesting numbers, and if they shift during season changes. Considering I had to stop myself from using up my most summery scent in the middle of January... probably not. Stay warm! Stay safe!
